Welcome!
Ever feel like you’re the only mom who stays at home?
YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
The MOMS Club of Monticello is dedicated to providing support to the stay-at-home mother. We meet during the day, when at-home mothers most need support! We believe being a mother shouldn’t isolate you, so mothers may bring their children with them! Children are welcome to ALL activities.
The MOMS Club is a nonprofit corporation and a 501 (C) (3) publicly-supported charity registered with the IRS! We know being an at-home mother today means making a financial sacrifice, so dues to our local chapter are only $20 per year! (These dues can be waived is there is a financial hardship, just talk to an officer at our monthly business meeting.) At-home mothers of any age children are welcome! You don’t have to leave the group when your children enter school! We know you still need support as your children grow!
Some of our favorite field trips include going to the local apple orchard for a tour of the cider making facilities, trips to the pumpkin patch and the Fair Oaks Dairy. Some of the MOMS favorite activities are play groups, where the kids play while we talk. We also meet for breakfast, have monthly business meetings, and a monthly MOMS Night Out.
What’s a MOMS Night Out? That’s one time a month where we (if possible) leave the children with daddy and head out for some fun. We’ve played Putt-Putt, gone to movies, done Christmas shopping, sang karaoke, and painted pottery. It’s amazing how refreshed having one evening away can make you feel.
We look forward to having you join our group!
